Are you licensed and Insured?

Answer: Yes! Movers and Groovers is licensed and insured by the South Carolina Public Service Commission, License # PSC-3487. Please check their website for additional information at.

How soon should I book my move?

The sooner the better. We accommodate all customer’s schedules as best we can. We have no cancellation fees, so get on the schedule ASAP!

When are you available?

We operate 7 days a week from 9am to 6pm.

Will you move pianos?

Yes! We move upright and baby grand pianos. Make sure you discuss any piano moving with your representative prior to moving day.

Will you connect/disconnect my appliances?

Yes! We ask you to sign a release of liability prior to hooking them up.

Will you disassemble/reassemble furniture?

Yes! We gladly disassemble/reassemble furniture. However if the item has been disassembled prior to the move, we might be unable to reassemble.

Will you load/unload rental trucks and mobile storage units?

Yes! We offer labor only services to handle these types of moves.

Are there any hidden charges

No! We are very forward and upfront about our pricing. We simply charge by the hour!

Can you pack my stuff or does it have to be pre-packed?

We are happy to pack your stuff! Let our representative know if you are interested in this service.

Are there any fuel charges

NO! only on long distance moves.

My move is booked, now what?

If you’re having the movers pack your stuff, you don’t have to worry about a thing! If you are handling the packing yourself, please have it done before moving day.

What are your payment options?

We accept all major credit cards, local checks, money orders, and cash.

Should I tip the movers?

This upon the customer’s discretion, If you are happy with the service, please feel free to tip them.
